It's another weird weather day out there.  It felt like fall this morning and it was windy and rainy.  A far cry from earlier this week.

I've decided to take off tomorrow because the 4 hours of work I need to get in doesn't warrant me waking up, driving to work, putzing around and then going home.  I plan to get an oil change, a pedicure, plant some flowers in the flower boxes I 'rescued' from a dumpster and clean.

Our last intern is leaving today.  Yesterday she gave a coworker and me some cute 'thank you' gifts.  It was really sweet of her   The other interns are gone, thank god!

I'm thinking about seeing if I can work from home tomorrow.  I need a little change in my routine or I'm going to explode. 

I forgot to bring lunch with me today and the H drove me to work.  So I have to schmooze a co-worker to take me to wa-wa.

Yesterday I finished all of the invites I made for MIL's 50th birthday.  They came out AMAZING!  Someone saw them and asked where we ordered them from and didn't believe me when I said I made them.  That made me feel happy.  I wanted to make them, but I didn't want them to look home-made if you know what I mean.

Hi! Today is my last day of work for the week, thank goodness. It was a hellish week - some kind of sickness (temperature, not keeping any food down, cold sweats), a meeting in DC yesterday,... I'm looking forward to the weekend.

good morning! why is it still not friday yet?  this week has taken forever.  Might try and get out of work early today since last night the ILs called and said they were stopping by today.  of course our place is a mess and I didnt have time to get anything done last night sice I didnt get home until 1130.  I know the disaster that is my kitchen wont bother them, but I still dont want them to see it

you should really think about starting a side business...maybe an etsy store?
