frustrated with name change

We  got married september of 07 and by october I had pretty much changed my name on everything except my passport still have to do that.  Well, I just get my car registration renewal and it has my maiden name on it.  So I call around and find out that even though I changed my name on the billing end of it, I have to change it on the title of my car, (I'm still paying for my car)  so apparently I have to call the agency and get the title changed on my car so that it will change on my registration.  I really don't want to deal with them again, my name change went pretty smoothly with everything but the car bill.

 Just had to vent, and I guess I will call them on monday....I thought I was done with all of this nonsense.

You bring up a good point.  I wonder if I still need to do this?  My car bill is in my married name. Hmmm.  I understand your frustration it felt like I had to make a million calls to change my name on everything.  I don't want to deal with it.

That is why I still ahve my maiden name. I am not changing it until December when we are debt free. We have too many creditors right now. I am sorry you are dealing with all that.

I talked to the loan people and said that it wasn't that big a deal to change your name.  She said it would probably be best to change it when I finish paying it in about a yr.  Hope this helps!
