  • Kline's Iceceam is a must visit.  I live over the mountain but they're famous across the state :)

  • I have been there!  It is wonderful!  Thanks!
  •  What kinds of things did you have in mind?

Downtown Farmer's market on Sat and Tuesday Mornings...Massanutten has the waterpark, golf, winter sports, etc...there are a ton of wineries, skyline drive...

good, non-chain restaurants: Cally's, Hanks, most of the places downtown, Cinnamon Bear Bakery is good for coffee and baked goods...

  • I made up this map/list of "highlights" for my wedding. http://www.weddingmapper.com/harrisonburg/va/list/001z8i Has some good restaurants and things to do/see.  Come fall, the big things are the corn mazes in the area! :-)  Oh, and right now (through labor day) is the Green Valley book fair.  the best place to buy books!  gvbookfair.com  Also, Staunton and Charlottesville are two places with a nice vibe :-)
