Re: Random - Anyone have access to Peacock Feathers

  • My BFF was a peacock last year, let me see what she did with her feathers and if I can find any pics... and she looked AWESOME and would probably do your makeup for you if you wanted!  She's a makeup artist.

    hold please................

    Or Michaels?

Michaels only sells them in packs of 2 and they are $3...way too much.  I am thinking I need at least 100 maybe 200.  I found decent prices on-line but may still scrap idea due to the price.

I would LOVE to see pics of what she did.  I will be on a cruise so I will have to master make-up on my own.  I am debating on how I want the style to be so any pics/ideas would be fantastic!  Can you find out if she has left over feathers or where she got hers?

  • This is my biggest inspiration...I would not have as much detail but I love the skirt...I have a similar one.  I am thinking of creating the downtail on a separate piece of fabric so it is detachable and easier to pack!  I was also thinking a bustier and possible bolero jacket but I probably would not put so many feathers due to cost and talent...Then I found some amazing feather fashinators on ebay.

  • This is what she did....... the eyes are actually "eyeshadow", her eyes are closed in this picture. Then she did her hair really big and stuckn the feathers in her hair.  She wore black fishnets and black "booty shorts" and a sparkly blue corset.  I hope this pic helps you to get an idea.  Goodluck planning!
