Hi Ladies!  I got married on July 11 at The Merion and figured it was about time to come over to the nest.  I also had a question about flower preservation.  My mom had my flowers dried by a local company and now I'm interested in putting them in a shadowbox.  The company charges another $350 for the shadowbox.  I think we spent enough on the drying process and can't imagine spending $350.  Does anyone have any recommendations for places that do this or is this really how much it costs to preserve my bouquet? TIA!

Try Micheals they may have something you can do yourself and a shadow box. Also, what about putting the boquet in a holder/vase instead of a shadow box

My mom went to Michaels and they don't do flower preservation.  I can't even buy my own shadowbox and do it myself because the woman took apart my entire bouquet when she dried it so I have a box of a bunch of taken apart flowers.  Thanks for your suggestion though!

Hi and welcome! I can't help with preservation... mine our hanging upside down in my closet. They are pretty well dried and might look nice displayed, but I'm sure in time they will fall apart.

Hello and Welcome!  I was alos married at the merion:)

 I had my flowers perserved but this women did it out of her home.  She needed my bouquet the day after the wedding and she put them in a shadow box, along with an invite, my garder, his bout, these little bells we used and peices of my mother's head peice that I had put in my flowers for $250.
