Lake Las Vegas

Okay, so I really love Lake Las Vegas and we have decided we would like to get married there; however, we are not looking for some big production. What we really would like is to just find a spot by the lake with a nice view of the mountains or strip or whatever...set up some chairs and get married!

The problem is I can't seem to find any information on who to contact to make this happen. Anywhere else in the world you would call the city parks division and go from there; however, when I go to the Lake Las Vegas wedsite they are only offering hotels and such.

Does anyone know how I can arrange this and who I would need to call? Any and all help would be very much appreciated...time is running out!

Thanks,
The Future Mrs.

Hi Jonique, I would definitely check out theknot.com.  Also, check out montelago.  One of my good friends and fellow nesties/knotties j*&p* was married there and it was beautiful.

  • I lived in Vegas all my life and recently moved due to H being Military. Anyway, Lake Las Vegas is a man made lake and parks and rec has nothing to do with it. There are casinos out there which is what you'd go through to have your wedding. There are other venues than just the "big production" it really is a pretty and wonderful place. You can either search online here and go to each hotels website and look at their venues and call or I found this venue is nice. Also you can't see the strip from Lake Las Vegas. The lake is actually between Henderson and Lake Mead.

    HTH.
