How did everyone's weekends go?

TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
Re: How was your weekend?
Made more progress on the house buying process! They accepted our counter to their counter so now we wait for the inspection and tests and appraisals.
We had a lazy day on Saturday which was really nice.
Yesterday we did a citywide community service project with about 6,000 volunteers and 30 churches. Our group went to children?s home and did a carnival which was fun. Other groups did things from painting to landscaping to maintenance work.

Congrats!
Pretty good weekend here. DH ended up working all day Saturday, so I got some yard work done in the morning then spent the rest of the day cleaning and doing laundry. Sunday we were very lazy, which is always nice!
That's great, congrats!
We had a garage sale Friday and Saturday - it was VERY slow. But, despite the four thefts we had, we did pretty well. I don't understand why people think it's necessary to steal junk from a garage sale - especially crappy old silverware.
Friday night, we went out with my brother and SIL, who came into town
for the weekend. Saturday night, we hung out with DH's sis and her FI
(they live across the street) but were exhausted from the sale (and
sunburns), so we called it a night relatively early.
We didn't do much Sunday, just kinda sat around and watched the golf tourney - the redeemer of the weekend was my yummy butter, garlic and parmesan grilled shrimp last night. Our weekend was really fun!
Friday night we watched an amazing fireworks display in my hometown. Then Saturday was tubing and swimming on the lake with my brother and his GF. Then the 4 of us went to the drive-in and watched a double feature: The Ugly Truth and Pelham 123. Both were pretty good movies, and I laughed out loud during Truth, but I felt that both movies fell flat at the end. Both were a bit disappointing. But it was fun none the less. Then yesterday DH and I traveled about an hour from home and visited his 93 yr old great aunt and went to a family reunion of mine. When we got home yesterday we watched a couple of movies because it ended up being a rainy day. All in all, a pretty good weekend!

Mine was good! Friday night I met up with a friend from high school and some of his friends - we recently discovered that we both live in DC through Facebook. Anyway, it was fun, but not entirely my scene. While some of his friends are in relationships, none are married. They kept asking me all of these "married" questions, like, "What's it like to be married?" "How long did you guys date before you got engaged?" "How long were you engaged?" I felt a little bit like a subject in a psychology study. But they were really nice people, and I had a good time.
Saturday I did some work around the house, then hit a huge sale at Hancock Fabrics. I met some friends for dinner and saw "Julie and Julia," which I loved.
Sunday was church, errands, and then a lazy day reading by the pool. Bliss!
Weekend was way too short.
We spent Friday night trying to get caught up on stuff from a long week.
Saturday we went shopping all day.
Sunday we started to landscape and dig up our yard. We also went to a staff dinner for my school.

weekend was good. Went to see District 9 Friday night with a few friends. Fabulous movie, but not what I expected.
Saturday we mostly just lazed about. We went for a late breakfast with my father-in-law and then went for a walk around town. Saturday night DH went to hang with some of his guy friends. We also found out that one of our friends is pregnant.
Sunday we slept in and then went for a walk around downtown. We got some frozen yogurt and then came back home and watched Friends (we do that a lot)
Mine was good
Didn't do much Friday or Sunday but Saturday I went back to my sorority house for recruitment practice for the active sisters. Went to the local greek store and bought tons of Sigma Kappa stuff
It really made me miss that part of college life (no so much the classes though!). Then DH and I went to dinner and to a local wine bar with my best friend to celebrate her birthday. Long day but a good day
Oh! And on Sunday we found out that our friends are pregnant! I'm so disgustingly excited for them :-D (Mommy-to-be lost 100 lbs on doctor's orders in one year to be healthy enough to get his blessing to start trying) and they only started trying in June so it was relatively quick. They're the first of our group to get pg and it's totally lit a baby fire under me -- that three year plan quickly turned into a one year plan for me! (As in get pregnant next summer and have a baby around the 2 year mark instead of waiting for three for the first). But she's going to have the most awesome shower -- I've already found my way to the baby aisle in Target on more than one occasion
