I just had to post and AW a minute because I actually had a good weekend and it wasn't filled with housework like the last few months have been! My girls Debi and Candi threw me a baby shower and it was so much fun! I am so lucky and so grateful to have the awesome friends that I have. We had great food, great company, fun games and my friends and family were very generous with gifts. It was just an awesome day!
Brian got Bryce's room finished Friday evening so that was our last *big* project that we had to finish. Woo hoo!
On the flip side, though...Rylie had a cold last weekend and gave it to me. I kept losing my voice all weekend and those who know me know what a shame that is. LOL And now Rylie has pink eye! Poor baby. Luckily my mom was still here so she is home with her today. It's always something around my house, I swear.
But even with colds and such, I really needed that great weekend. I hope everyone else had a good weekend too. What did you all do?
Have a great week!
Re: How was everyone's weekend?
Awwe Leela...it was my pleasure. It was a fun day and I am glad I got to finally meet a few other nesties IRL! Bryce's room turned out wayyy cute! Love the paint colors.
Autumn....finding old treasures like that would have made my weekend. I love cool old furniture!!!
This past weekend was my last weekend before going back to school. The kids come back next week, but teachers started today. I'm exhausted!! Didn't really do much over the weekend, cleaned up, ate lunch at the Chef's Table on Saturday (yum!).
Sounds like you guys had fun at the baby shower You must be getting excited, Leela!
That is all relative to what kind of fun you are refferring to. Once you move in and get in the groove of being a homeowner, it is actually fun and rewarding doing projects around the house.....it is to me anyway.
Thanks Deb! I'm sure it will be once we are in the house, but since we are still living out of suitcases and at my parents house it all stinks *don't take it the wrong way--i'm very blessed and thankful for owning a home, but until we are moved in I don't think I will fully be appreciative!*
