I had big plans for this weekend... instead I spent it on the couch, watching trashy tv and trying my darnest to cough up a lung or two. UGH!
This week: Well, if today is any indication, I'll still be working on coughing up that lung. Yay!
My weekend was good. Too short as always. We saw Time Traveler's Wife (I really liked it!), OC swap meet, cleaned out clothes/ toys.
This week I have work and my H's bday.
hung out with the neighbors, made a kickass cake for a birthday party, started operation purge random_shit around the house, had date night last night.
this week: continue operation purge, read books, relax.
The weekend was way to short in some ways, but way too long in others.
Friday--gave my final presentation for my last summer class. I got some amazing comments from the prof. that had me on cloud nine. Came home and puppy sat for the evening. (This was the part of my weekend that was a bit long. In the future I'm going have to think a bit harder when I agree to watch anything that's not housebroken. I can't believe how much pee I cleaned up this weekend)
Sat-errands and then left V in charge of the dogs...went to dipitie's fundraiser (had a great time and won a cool skateboard) followed by costume party as a RHOC.
Sun--spent most of the day split between dogs and studying.
This week is my first week for fall session and I'm getting ready to head to back to Vegas this weekend. I am really excited to get some sun and see lots of shows there...
Fri - ran 16 miles, Del Mar races (won $230 on a trifecta - yay!) and late night Tapas in the gaslamp.
Sat - La Jolla, Charger game, fun at the SD W
Sun - brunch in PB, outlets, received some SHOCKING but happy news.
this week: heading to Cabo Thursday-Sun for a bachelorette party. There has been some drama of late, so I am not sure if I am excited about it, but I think as long as I keep a steady stream of booze in my system, all will be OK.

Weekend was fabulous!
My Friday turned out to be much better than expected. Went to MH's friends b day that turned out to be a sausage fest. I quickly called my best friend to pick me up and headed to another girlfriends b day party at Heat in Anaheim. I was the most tamely dressed I had ever been to a club and turns out I still got it and wansn't even trying.
We had a great time.
Sat: Woke up late- but got a quick morning run in. Had a lunch date with hubs and watched District 9. I teared up. Good flick. After that I joined some sexy nesties in some very strong mojitos followed by Legally Blond the musical. So.much.fun!
Sunday: my plans fell through- so hubs and I sat on the couch watching LOST episodes 1-16. I have a long ways to go to be caught up in the series. :P
i started off my weekend by making some red velvet whoopie pies with cream cheese filling. and then i gave them to some fabulous btches on saturday while we waited for dessert at magnolia, followed by "legally blonde: the musical." so much fun!
sunday was quiet and lazy.
this week, i have registration for the teen's freshman year. eeeek!
Weekend was probably the best one I've had in awhile!
Friday got to relax with the pup while H went out with his friends. Did some minor cleaning and watched DVR
Sat - drove out to Corona to see some peeps, did some errands at Costco and Target, dinner and movie with the H, then stayed up until 2 am baking and cooking for Sunday's IL dinner party
Sun - did more cleaning and cooking, SIL brought the nieces over early to go to the pool and then hosted our IL dinner party. Went to bed early at 930.
This week - nothing exciting as of yet...
Saturday: attended a funeral, then a birthday party for a college friend
Sunday: did absolutely nothing
This week: hoping to get a lot of errands done
Um, you know the rules....this requires pictures!
Friday: I was tired so I made MH go get pizza for me. We turned in early.
Saturday: MH went to his motorcycle training class and I went wedding dress shopping with my BFF. She found a dress....yay!! Went to lunch and then came home and watched movies with MH.
Sunday: Slept for a good portion of the day and then went to our regular Sunday coffee date and later sushi....it was a nice relaxing day
this week: mostly just resting up and going to doctors appts!
Friday: Slept in. Woke up in time to watch "my kids" win a national award at our fraternity's conference. Spent the afternoon and early evening catching up with a friend I haven't seen in 10 years, eating at yummy places in Georgetown. Raced through the Smithsonian air & space museum before our private event ended.
Saturday: Visited the National Archives and two more Smithsonians. Danced, drank and partied at the closing banquet and all the post-parties.
Sunday: Spent the day on a plane. Fell asleep by 9pm.
This week: Mourning the end of vacation. :-(
Friday: Costco madness.
Saturday: Indian buffet lunch with Little Monkey Niece and her parents. Movie marathon (District 9, Harry Potter, Julie & Julia). Dinner at a small French restaurant.
Sunday: Free tasting at new downtown bakery. Depeche Mode at the Hollywood Bowl.
This week....
Wednesday: Anniversary dinner, part one.
Friday through Monday: Vancouver.
Friday: Placed our foster puppy into his forever home (we've had the stinker since May 8th, gone through major heart surgery with him, etc).
Saturday: District 9, bummed around the house.
Sunday: Replaced all of the screens in our downstairs windows, Costco, Home Depot, followed by late-night dryer drama.
This week: diabetes dietician 1st week review appointment (Tuesday), OB appointment for ultrasound & follow-up (Wednesday), gaming convention (Friday & Saturday).

Weekend was half-good, half-bad. Saturday morning I woke up sick. I assumed I had had too much to drink Friday night with too little food, but it turned out I caught a stomach bug either at the gym or in my travels Friday. I do NOT wish the stomach flu on anyone!
Sunday was surprisingly productive, we got a ton done around the house and took it easy. Finished season 3 of The Tudors and watched Watchmen.
LOL Yeah my hair was the inspiration for costumes this time... I had planned on being Elle Woods, but the dress didn't fit :-(
I didn't take any, but I know Dipitie took one of me earlier in the evening so we will have to wait for her :-)
Fri - funeral, hung out with parents
Sat - parents bye bye. Dinner and Legally Blonde in Hollyhood with some fab ladies!
Sun - 4 mile run, 5 mile walk WITH MBOC! Both of us were dead to the world the rest of the day bc it was so hot and hilly. Rubio's for breakfast and dinner.
This week - feverishly getting ready for vacay in 2 weeks, going to SF on Friday, otherwise, trying to get through the work week.

Saturday - Purchased our baby furniture and BBQ'd with some friends.
Sunday - Hug out with my family and BBQ'd some more, went and got a pedicure, which was awesome.
Monday - Had our Big U/S this morning and found out we're having a girl!
This week - just working and going shopping for my nieces birthday this weekend.

Did a whole lot of nothing. Trying to soak up every single minute with my baby before I go back to work. I think I'm seriously giving myself an ulcer just thinking about it. uggghhh
I just keep telling myself to be thankful I have a job. ha.
This week, one of my bridesmaids is flying in tomorrow for a week. I have mixed feelings about this. She's great and all, but a week non stop with her might drive me nuts.
I'm heading up Saturday. :-)
