Thank you all for your support, thoughts, prayers, positive vibes and EVERYTHING! We saw the RE this morning and both babies are fine. C's bleeding has tapered off. The RE asked us to make an appointment with an OB asap, and we got in to see one this morning.
The OB had the ER fax over the ultrasound report. It didn't say how big the bleed was. Unfortunately, it did say "suggested septate or bicornuate uterus," apparently because of the locations of the babies. So the OB is sending us to a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to get that checked out. We have an appointment for tomorrow morning. Please keep her and the babies in your thoughts and prayers.
By the way, C told me to tell you all "hello." She misses not being able to post, but should be off bedrest tomorrow after the MFM appt.
Re: Update
In cases where a woman has a severe bicornuate uterus, she is usually unable to sustain a pregnancy. Basically the baby ends up with no room to grow. I think septate is a similar outcome, though I had to stop googling before I found out much about it.
We are praying C does not have either of these problems. We didn't hear of any abnormalities showing up on the HSG, so that is in our favor (they can't always see it on an HSG, but if our RE had suspected anything, he would have followed up on it).
