Rahr Brewery Tour

Have any of you been to this?  My best friend and her husband are coming to visit over Labor Day weekend and I'm brainstorming things to do while they're here.  We've stayed with them over Labor Day weekend a couple of times in Houston and they've taken us to the Saint Arnold Brewery tour, so we thought it would be fun for all of us to do the tour at Rahr in Fort Worth.

The website says it's from 1-3 on Saturday.  Any idea how early we should show up?  Also it says there's BBQ.  How is it?  When we did the Saint Arnold tour, they didn't have food on site, but they have picnic tables and you could bring in your own eats.  We saw lots of people with takeout from Central Market and that sort of thing.  Any idea if Rahr allows people to do that?

TIA!

Re: Rahr Brewery Tour

  • I'd say get there early.

    The place is usually crowded.

We always pick up food to take in, but the only thing available in the neighborhood is a Church's chicken.

They even have private parties, rehearsal dinners, and even receptions there.
