Restaurant Recs?
Hi ladies, I live in the Baltimore area but will be in Ft. Lauderdale this weekend for my 30th bday. We are going for 5 nights and would love some restaurant suggestions! We are flying into Miami, so I don't mind driving down there, but closer to Ft. L/Pompano Beach would be preferred.
We like all kinds of food- Mexican, sushi, seafood... Price isn't too big of a concern, but we want some places with a fun atmosphere too.

Opa is a greek restaurant in which you can dance on the tables so that is always fun. If you like seafood, check out the Rustic Inn. Inside a little strip mall, is shuck N Dive which is based off of New Orleans (great burgers as well more of a lunch place)

I like the Casablance Cafe in Ft. Lauderdale
There's the famous burger joint Le Tub in Hollywood by the water and next to the beach boardwalk
Jackson's is this fantastic old fashioned ice cream place that serves ice cream scoops the size of a softball. They also have food too, but they are famous for the atmosphere and ice cream.
Along the beach you also have Shula's steakhouse and Beachfront with some shopping and hangout type resteraunts. If you go to the Galleria mall in Ft. Lauderdale, attached to it is this great resteraunt called Seasons 52. The chef there specializes in very fresh ingredients and the menu changes on a regular basis depending on the kind of food he buys. Very tasty.
I second Season's 52 - I love that place. The food is very good, and across is the Blue Martini, so you can go over and party there. Awesome Martinis and they also have a live band playing.
Opa is also so much fun!!
