According to a source, as long as Favre can pass a physical, it's goodbye retirement and hello Vikings.
I thought we were done with this...

Re: Brett Favre back?!
Apparently Vick was getting too many headlines and everyone was forgetting about poor Brett.
What a joke. I forsee thrown interceptions in the vikings future.
Yep, its a never ending story.

I called it in the other Favre thread - I said it was still early & he could change his mind about retirement.
I was half joking, of course...but sheesh, this is nuts!
I can't wait to bust out my "We'll Never Forget You, Brent!" shirt when we play the Queens!

Stop the pain!
Enough is enough.
Honestly, after all his shenanigans I can't believe there's actually a team that would want to sign him.
Katie Talks About...
HAHAHA You don't need Brett on the Vikings to predict THAT. Have you ever watched them play?
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
I love Brett, but he really needs to hang up the cleats. He had a decent season last year, but I can't say what this year will bring.
But if he crashes and burns, that's all anyone will remember.
You're only good as your last game.

Did you honestly think that he was just going to retire and that be the end of it?! haha Brett Favre will be in and out of the NFL forever...
PS I can only say this on here but where I live (the same place where Brett's wife and family lives) Brett Favre can do no wrong and I would be shot for not being the biggest Brett Favre fan.
Cinnabun and Junebug say, "Go Wildcats!"
I love that "We'll Never Forget You Brent!" shirt - I gotta find one.
It wouldn't be so bad if he'd just freaking admit that he wasn't ready to give up and quit retiring. Michael Jordan left basketball for baseball and came back [wisely so], but he only did that once. Favre is just doing way too much now.
I love Adrian Peterson and was a Vikings fan, but now I have a sorta bitter taste in my mouth. And their poor QBs...to bust their butts and work like Favre wasn't coming, then all of a sudden be told he was actually coming to the team...I'd be irritated, to say the least.
They're printed here in Madison - they used to have a Vikings version, but it's not relevant anymore
They've got Jets and Packers versions for sale still (as well as a "Benedict Brett" one). I have a feeling I'll be seeing a lot of these shirts around WI this fall!
Sconnie Nation
If the Vikings are smart they will sit Brett a few games to keep his arm rested and then use him more during the end of the season. He fizzled out last season about 4 weeks till the end.
LOL. Honestly, during commercial breaks.
Here's the problem, the Vikings are not smart.
I'm from MN and love me some Vikings football, but they tend to make decisions that frustrate me.. I hope they keep him on the bench a few weeks, but I'm not betting on it.
Favre, reminds me of the old relative who swears they are dying but they end up living 10-20 yrs longer...geezz....
If the media would ignore him..he would go away.
Absolutely hilarious and awesome - thanks for sharing!
And I think Brett should sit out, too, but I doubt he will. Bagh.
