ah no wonder. joe's shanghai sounds better than my inverted version.
i tried joe's a full year before i tried DTF or MLV or J&J, so i couldn't do a real comparison. both times i had them, i was running around the city all day in the rain, so they were especially delicious.

I think it comes down to whether one prefers thick or thin skin. I like thin and delicate.

J&J = J&J (a dumpling restaurant)
DTF = din tai fung (another dumpling restaurant)
MLV = mei long village (yet another dumpling restaurant)
SGV = san gabriel valley (where all these dumpling restaurants are located)
This totally made me lol.
And count me in for a SGV gtg... as long as there as an OC carpool of course.
