Coming to Indy!

Just a visit for now, but hopefully it'll turn more permanent!  DH and I currently live in Chicago, but I'm so ready for a change.  After graduating from law school with tons of debt and no job prospects in this city, I'm having a hard time justifying how much we spend every month on food, rent, etc.  We really want to buy a house and start a family in a few years, so a cheaper place is definitely a must.  We'll be in town the 29th and 30th to check out downtown and some of the suburbs.  Then I just have to convince him to move next May when he's done with school   Hopefully I can join the ranks of the Indiana ladies soon!

Welcome to our fine city... short term for now and hopefully long term!  (Hah, I say "our" city... I'm actually moving to NW IN soon, so it's not my city for much longer.)  Anyway, let us know if you're looking for anything particular.  I believe you've posted a few times to ask about job prospects here.  But if you have specific questions about neighborhoods, commutes, logistics or cost of living, etc.  before and/or after you get here, feel free to post.  Have fun!

Enjoy your trip!! Hopefully you love Indy as much as the ladies on this board do!! If possible, you might stay downtown, it gives you such a great feel for the city. If you have more specific questions closer to your visit make sure to let us know!
