Louisville Hotels

Hi ladies!  DH and I are going to be in Louisville for a wedding at the end of this month and before I take a blocked room with the wedding party, I wanted to see if there are any really cool hotels in the area that might be more fun.

 We are planning on staying an extra night so we can tour Churchill Downs and the Louisville Slugger museum.  I saw the post below about restaurants, so I'll write those down too!

I love the Brown's lobby, but I personally dont think the rooms are worth the money. Maybe if you look into the Galt House and request the water view, it would be really nice. They have nice rooms, and I second the Marriott. Seelbach has nice common areas. Never been in 21C. To tell you the truth, I had to tour the Hyatt, Seelbach, Brown, Galt House, and the Holiday Inn downtown for a contract I was working on, and really none of them (as far as rooms go) were that far off from the Holiday Inn. The owner really remodeled it well and I thought it had the nicest rooms. I know that must sound pretty bad to say that about the other hotels, but this is from what I saw comparing the rooms they took us in.

Ditto to Big Blue--- I personally love The Seelbach and 21C is super modern and cool, definitely would be a fun experience for you.
