Best schools in LV?

Hi ladies, DH and I are thinking of making the move to Vegas and I was wondering where the best public schools are...I've heard Summerlin and Henderson; is this true?  TIA for your help!

Re: Best schools in LV?

  • That sounds about right, but it depends.  I would look up the schools in the area where you would like to move.  For instance, check out this website:

  • Summerlin and Henderson are definitely nicer, more community centered areas, but I don't know if I'd say they have "better" school. Vegas/Henderson area is not known for good schools.

  • It depends on where in Henderson you look.

NW, Summerlin, Aliante, GV and parts of Henderson have good schools, better neighborhoods and just flat out more money running through the areas.
