Lightning hit right in front of my car!
So i was driving through the storm on Rt. 30 in Lancaster and a lightning bolt hit the highway like 100 feet right in front of my car! I screamed! I have never seen lightning hit the ground before. I can't believe I didn't drive right off the road, i totally swerved, luckily there were no cars right near me. it was insane!!

Holy cow, that's scary! The lightning was especially bad tonight in 581/Carlisle Pike. We were on our way to Lowe's and of course, it started bucketing and the lightning was flashing for what seemed like 5 or 6 seconds in one spot!

That is scary! We didn't have storms last night but the ones the night before were AWFUL!!!
I saw lightning strike the ground once (well sort of... what I could see was blocked by a fence, but I know where it hit). I was standing in the kitchen cooking and all of the sudden the hair on my left arm (the one closest to the window) stood up and got tingly and there was a bright bolt of light in my neighbors yard. I freaked the heck out!
