San Antonio trip question

Good morning Ladies, I have a question and was hoping you could help me out. I will be taking at trip to SA the week of 4th of July and was wondering if you guys could recommend some good restaurants/bars/clubs and things to see while we are there. We are staying by the riverwalk.

 Thanks!

Wink

Re: San Antonio trip question

  • I just "bumped" a post for you to the top...?

?As far as clubs, I'm not a big "clubber" myself, however I love Howl at The Moon and Swig. ?There are also a few bars near the Majestic that are pretty cool but I can't think of them right now... anyone else remember?

    ?Hope you enjoy your stay!?

  • Restaurants - Azuca, La Frita, Acenar. A bit more pricey: Biga, Bohanan's.

bars...it's been awhile since I've been to trendy bars ;). There was a time Zen bar on Houston was thee place to be. Also Medusa was pretty cool, but it's been awhile since I've been to either. I usually go to Blue Star or Beethovens these days.

  • Well... as far as clubs go i hope this list helps:

RIVE, Zen, Suede, Metropolis, Pat O'Briens's, Medusa's, Cielo Lounge, Polyester's, Maddogs, if you like to just chill and listen to rock or catch a band u may want to go to Logan's (small rock bar but cheap beer, $5 for a huge beer mug) and 007's has bands on the weekends... hope that helps w/ the entertainment. Big Smile

  • I will recommend my usuals. Rosarios, El Mirador, and Acenar for Mexican. Paesanos for Italian. If you want Texas style BBQ there is also the County Line.Mi Tierra is great for morning coffee and pastries. For going out I prefer Howl at the Moon, Pat O's, Swig, and SOHO Martini Bar. SOHO is great if you're just looking to chill and relax.
