Scary storm
Hope everyone is staying safe with the storm that is going through.

What a freaky storm! There was a Tornado up at Vaughan Mills mall..and then up at Hwy 7 area..craziness. Definitely scary.

DH and I spent 1 hrs emptying buckets from our flooding basement window! The good news is that we now know where the leak is from and can fix it easily and we were also safe incase a tornado did pass by!
My MIL lives in the Rutherford & Hwy 400 area and they were bad! She called us every 15 min to make sure we didn't get hit. A few neighbours or hers lost chunks of their roofs and trees are down everywhere. Thank goodness they are ok but OMG scary!
I can't believe I slept through it.
Actually, it wasn't that bad. The rain wasn't any worse than the worst storm this year, neither was the lightning or wind... But the sky went black (at 6:30pm) and then green, which is when we turned on the radio to find out it was a tornado warning so we went to the basement!! The worst of the storm hit Woodbridge/Vaughan which is just north of us, and is actually where we were originally looking for a house :S scary!!

It got greyish green and then orange... then it was dark(like night time)
We are were without paoer for over 3 hrs!
It was hot and sticky and I was home alone with DH at work... {I am still afraid of the dark} so every creek, thud, ting..I jumped at... but I lite some candles and read for a bit... while on the phone to many people who were also without power.
weird Joey said we got exactly what TO got, minus the tornados.

I must be lucky! ?I noticed the power went out at my work, but nothing in my end of town.
The power went out at Joe's work 7 times during it (cambridge) but it didn't go out here. Apparently it went out in Brantford too.
