I went to the grocery store twice this week and everytime I could not find what my DW wanted I cried. Realizing more and more what C and the twins mean to me brings so much JOY to my heart.

Well I suppose the greatest experience was hearing the heartbeat of our child :-)

I spent half a day with my mom, and we had a really good time with none of the power struggles that often weigh down our relationship. She was in town for a job interview and it was the first time I've been able to comfort and support her during a stressful time.

Not nearly as sweet - but when a friend came in town last weekend he wanted to go to the pool with us - but we'd forgotten to get a guest pass.  The lifeguard wasn't going to let us in since we didn't have the pass, but a nice woman in line offered for us to use her pass. And when we offered to pay, she said, "No, honey. That are what neighbors are for."  We didn't know her - but it was so nice and we were all able to go in and go swim.

I just LOVE random acts of kindness...what an AWESOME experience! I bet it made the swim that much nicer.
