Hi Molly!!! Our financial advisor is Kayla Clark we found her through ING's web site. Her services were "free" (they get a commision for the stuff you end up buying), so it might be a biased. I don't have her phone number with me right now but I can forward it to you later today.
The first meeting she came to our house, asked what our financial goals are, got some info, she proposed some investment strategies for us and took some "homework" home, checked our credit scores for us and a couple of other things.
I believe Melissa's FI also does some of that.
On the free trash the dress sessions, I think we were just lucky... We met a photographer at a Knottie's wedding and started talking about wedding related stuff and trash the dress photos, she said she had never done a TTD session but would love to get into doing them, so she offered to take our pictures for free!!! We bought the CD with the photos, but there was no "seating" fee and we didn't pay her by the hour or anything, and we got all the photos on a "printable" size (or original size, not sure how's it called). HTH :-)
