Re: Top 3 Friday
Broke my nose 3 times in the span of a month...one was turning right into a hanging flower pot.
I had my foot run over by a friend as he was pulling out of my driveway.
Tore a tendon in my knee in a HS basketball game that led to my mom and another mom getting into a fight. The other mom (from the opposing team) had hollered "she (I) got what she (I) deserved" as they carried me off the court.
Broke my right wrist by crashing a mini-motorcycle. I was with friends at a lake house and refused to tell anyone because I didn't want to go home.
Feel off a bar stool (no, I was like 8 and at home) and injured my left wrist when it smashed into a rocking chair.
Compresion fractures of multiple vertebrae (broke my back) from being thrown off a horse.
1. Broke my arm rollerskating as a kid.
2. Got my cast off and fell a week later and ended up with stitches in my chin. I am suprised CPS wasn't called.
3.Stumbeled into a chair in my kitchen and thought I stubbed my toe. Turned out I broke a bone up in my foot by jamming it back.
Seems most of my worst injuries are self inflicted by my own clumsiness. Yikes.

1. I have cracked 3 windshields with me head as a result of my parents getting in car accidents. My parents didn't believe in car seats or seat belts. It was the 70s.
2. I fell head first off the monkey bars while I was hanging upside down. I was waiting for my mom to come outside and see me and my knees got sweaty and I fell off.
3. A large filing cabinet fell over on me during my first week at a new job. Somehow it caught my wrist and gave me a nice gash which made it look like I had tried to slit my wrist. Nice first impression. :P
1. In middle school was chasing a ball in gym class when I tripped and slide face first into the folded up bleachers... and cut my lip on the corner of the safety warning plate ("Do Not Run on Bleachers"). Should have gotten stitches, but insisted I was fine as I bled profusely all over the place. I still have the scar on my lip in the shape of a corner.
2. When I was maybe 9 - 10ish, my mom and I got in a car accident when someone rearended us. I ended up smacking my head against the window, hard, and ended up with a very large "goose egg." I got to ride in an ambulance to the hospital where they x-rayed my head to make sure there wasn't a pressure build up.
3. Honestly, I can't think of a third! I've never broken a bone or received stitches (outside of surgery) ... ::knock on wood::
I've had 4 surgeries, but they aren't dramatic or unusual, I don't think.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
last friday was really crazy and we were out of town all weekend, so i'm a bit late, but...
1: i have a scar on my chin from my uncle's church. we went to visit one night and they were redoing the gravel in the parking lot. it was really dark and i didn't listen to my mom when she told me not to run. i ended up with a huge gash and impetigo.
2: i have my very own harry potter scar. i got it onstage--during a rehearsal, thank goodness, trying to exit after lights down. the tech guy hadn't put glow tape on the doorways, so i couldn't see it at all and walked right into the corner. gashed my head open pretty good. luckily it was a pretty gory show so it didn't matter for performances, lol!
3: i also broke my toe onstage, also during a rehearsal. i played a 15yo pregnant girl, and my character got thrown across the stage by another at one point. yeah, not a happy show. anyway, the stage was platforms and they hadn't been leveled properly, so my shoe caught on the edge of one as i was going down. it hurt sooooooo bad!
