I just had a brilliant idea
OK I know most of us central-AL nesties are readers because the majority of us also post on the NBC board so I was thinking... what if our next gtg was book-related? Maybe do a used book swap, or make bookmarks... idk something fun
WDYT? Any biters?

Re: I just had a brilliant idea
I saw that post and thought it was a pretty cool idea.
If it did happen, I don't know if I would participate though
Blog!
I might be game for that!
wwwwwhhhyyyyyyy?
I would totally be interested...and maybe this time I will actually be able to come.
BTW, Amelia Bedelia was one of my favorites as well!! That, and Harriet the Spy. (Not sure if it was as big down here)
Depending on when it is, I might not be in town since we aren't driving in for a while and I have few books I'm willing to part with..lol
and with my luck, it'd be a downgrade from yesterday and nobody would show up
Blog!
hey i tried. I just didn't want to make a first impression by puking on my shoes, lol
I LOVED HARRIET THE SPY!!!!!!
It inspired me to be the neighborhood spy for a whole month when I was in the 3rd grade. The only thing I learned was that our across the street neighbor that never came outside was mentally ill (looking back now, he probably had alzheimers) and his wife had boarded the front door shut so he couldn't leave. That was enough to keep my nose on my face and out of other people's business for a while!
Nah, so long as
1) I'm not dying of bronchitis
2) DH isn't attempting to lay tile in our kitchen under the effects of cold medicine
3) finals aren't in the imminent future
I should be able to be at the next one
I know these guys! Went to high school with some of them and my parents are friends with their parents! What a small world! They are so talented! I love going to hear them play
I'm just kidding..as long as it's on a weekend and I know in advance I would most likely go. As long as there isn't an AU home game to interfere..lol
I have a few books that I'm willing to part with
My friend and her mom are into Lynam..I've never heard them play though
Blog!
That would be cool.
Next time you see they're playing here and you can make it let me know
Blog!
Monkeytoez- I like the idea of a book discussion!
or we could do a bookmark swap or something.
I've never heard lynam, but I heart little indie bands that haven't made it big yet
Any Corey Smith fans? He's started to make it big but he played some of his first shows at JSU! I looooove him.
First Dance = eeeeeevery time, haha!
Leopard in Acacia Tree, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania 2009
Crafty Owl Blog
Gaah!!! I LOOOOVE FBR and Velcro Pygmies! I don't have any of their CD's though
Have you ever heard Mile Marker 7? They're really good too. They play a lot at Zydeco.
I think that's an excellent idea!
aaah!!! I love the iron horse! AND FBR!
I might be there too. What time do they start?
