There seem to be some really nice new condos in the Uptown Park Ridge area. If you live here, can you tell me a bit about it? Likes? Dislikes?

Yeah, if you like to pay thousands of dollars in property taxes and be surrounded by snobs 24/7, Park Ridge is the way to go.
I like Park Ridge, don't get me wrong. It's a pretty place, but it comes w/a price. There are equally nice areas where you won't have to take out a second mortgage just to pay your taxes. Unless you have kids and are sending them to Park Ridge schools then you'll be getting your money's worth at least.
Don't you think that was a little harsh? How do you know there aren't people on this board that live there who just might not be a snob? Unfortunately you will get that anywhere in that area and the northside in general.
