Any cheap alterations rec??
HI Ladies,
I am in my sister's wedding and my BM dress is huge- even on my prego self. I need cheap alterations that do not have to be bridal gown quality. I'll wear the dress for 5 hrs one day so it just needs to stay up. Its a strapless Jasmine maternity gown and it fell right down- I think they measure you and then order a dress they know will be too big hoping you'll get it altered there.
It's BM dress and I will be 7 months pregnant so I don't want to spend too much on altering this dress.

I don't know if she does bridesmaids dresses, but maybe she has a recommendation. Her prices were super reasonable.
I second Mahtab, and she does do BM dresses however I suggest calling her ASAP since I'm sure she's busy with wedding season.

mahtab did my gown alterations and will do bridesmaid dresses. however, she's not the cheapest. very reasonable for wedding gowns, i'm not sure for bridesmaid dresses.

Nope. They would much rather it come in right so they don't have to deal with alterations. I would try your dry cleaner or any cleaners near your home that have a tailor. Good luck!
I've taken a few of my things to lucy's - they have one location near south coast and another in HB. not the cheapest, but they have coupons on their site and last time I went, I saw a wedding dress so I'm pretty sure they know what their doing.
