Re: Dry cleaning your wedding dress: Please help!!
Just to mention--I thought of just dry cleaning, and the best prices I could find (in Northern IN.) were $50-60 to dry clean. I only spent $100 having my preserved. So it may be less expensive in the long run to have it preserved (which will have stain removal included) than to clean it now. Hope you find what works for you!!
P.s. I got the package with the "sugaring" stain removal, and it got red wine out of a beaded area!! There are tons of great options though.
My cousin is wearing it next month
Thanks ladies!
This is probably way too late but I had mine done in Champaign, IL b/c that's where we were living at the time and was only charged about $35. Dress came back fine. I had to get it cleaned after our destination wedding to wear it for our at home reception. We jumped in the pool at the resort in St. Lucia at the end of our pictures. So even though I rinsed out most of the sand (beach) and chlorine (pool) I thought it was best to have it dry cleaned so it didn't turn yellow.
To find the place I used, I actually called the placed I bought the dress and asked for a recommendation.
Just remember if you ever have it preserved (I did because I didn't know what I wanted to do with it) and they dry clean it when they preserve it.
