As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. **Mrs. Kocal** - or any recs for a birthday cake in Queens/LI!
Do you know a good bakery in Bayside or somewhere nearby? I live in Little Neck and I need a cake for Friday - DH and my brother have birthdays within days of each other.

I've never ordered cakes from either of these places, but as far as pastries and cookies go, my two faves are:
D'Aquila Pastry shop, 33-31 Francis Lewis Blvd in Bayside (right by my house, we go there a lot and they are very good)
Sapienza Bake shop, 1376 Hempstead Tpke, Elmont (my mom used to drive out here from Queens just to get the zeppole and sphinge (sp?) on St. Joseph's day, it's very good.)
