Yes. Probably between 20-30

I actually go to the page. Love blogs that have links to other relevant blogs.
3. do you comment a lot, or mostly lurk?
90% lurker, 10% commenter

LGBT family blogs, home improvement, cooking, weight loss, parenting

It's too hard to pick just one favorite!

2. how do you follow blogs? actually going to the page, or through a reader/some other method? i follow on my reader, unless it's a pw-protected post, then i'll click to view it.
3. do you comment a lot, or mostly lurk? i don't really comment, i wish i was better at that sometimes. i always get a bit nervous, especially the first time. kinda like how i'd imagine a blind date would feel. i comment with some frequency on duchess's blog, and other nesties' locked ttc posts.
4. what kinds of blogs do you like to read? i read all kinds. i have quite a few ttc blogs, some lgbt blogs, photography blogs (both how-to advice and photos), cooking blogs (like that's going to help or something), and some random fun things like cakewrecks and the like. see? a LOT.
5. what's your favorite blog that you follow overall? pioneer woman.

2. how do you follow blogs? actually going to the page, or through a reader/some other method? I use a reader because it's faster but feel I miss out by not going directly to the page.

some blogs i comment, others i mostly lurk. i comment mostly on the blogs of people i "know," or smaller blogs. big, popular blogs with tons of commenters - i'm less apt to.

interior design, "mommy" blogs, lesbian family/ttc, local boston blogs, a couple of lgbt news/entertainment, and the occasional timewaster like passive-aggressive notes or cake wrecks (so yes, that is a lot, LOL)

some of my faves are dooce, i suwanne, and finslippy

1. do you follow a lot of blogs? - Not alot I have ~6 that I follow daily. Then a handful I'll check a few times a week
2. how do you follow blogs? For several I use an RSS feed to have them sent to my main yahoo page. A few others I get emails whenever they are updated.
3. do you comment a lot, or mostly lurk? Lurk. I rarely comment or never comment on some.
4. what kinds of blogs do you like to read? Mostly they are people I know. Although I enjoy cooking blogs and lately random decor/baby blogs.
5. what's your favorite blog that you follow overall? I don't have a favorite but as I mentioned earlier I love the way Sarah writes.
1. do you follow a lot of blogs? I follow the 14 I have linked from my blog (because they are easy to get to), and a few others that I don't have linked.
2. how do you follow blogs? actually going to the page, or through a reader/some other method? I actually go to the page. I set up a reader once, but I am a very visual person so seeing the blog background, etc, helps me remember who is who.
3. do you comment a lot, or mostly lurk? I try to comment on the blogs of people I know, especially those that aren't swamped with comments. I think it's kinda sad when people put something out there and no one responds. I don't comment much on people's blogs when I don't actually "know" them.

5. what's your favorite blog that you follow overall? I don't think I could pick just one, but I am really impressed by the nesties who regularly update their blogs. I aspire to be that kind of blogger some day.

1. not a lot...maybe 15-20 regularly. I have others i check in on when i'm looking to kill a few minutes but they arent on my reader.
2. reader but ditto TWB - sometimes I have to click to the blog to remind myself who it is if its not someone i read frequently or know from here.
3. Mostly lurk although i've been telling myself that I should break that habit

4. what kinds of blogs do you like to read? mostly GLBT parenting and a few others (Amazing Trips/Pioneer Woman)

4. what kinds of blogs do you like to read? Most (maybe a third) of the blogs I read regularly are LGBTQ families including TTC, pregnancy and parenting. I also read some related to other interests of mine (anti-racism, childbirth, etc) and some just for fun (Failblog, postsecret, mymilktoof, etc)
5. what's your favorite blog that you follow overall? This is a hard question. I just started reading http://figboiler.typepad.com/figboiler/ and I'm enjoying following their process.

i have two link lists on my favorites: "blogs" for things that are short/easy to read and updated frequently, and "sunday blogs" for when i am bored or things that are updated less frequently
2. i actually go to the pages. i have tried several times to figure out "readers" and am too stupid to get it, apparently.
3. almost totally lurk, although like others said, more frequently comment when i know the writer
4. running/triathlon, cooking, "theme" blogs
5. don't know that i have a favorite, but I love the Candy Blog (beautiful pictures, thorough info, great writing), Steece's Pieces, Cupcake Blog, my friend Kate Flaim's blog. i also love my brother's food blog, Porkalicious, but maybe that's cheating since i'm a contributor :-D
