**Vent**I hate being swollen!

Last night I decided unfortunately it was time to take off my wedding rings because of how swollen I was getting from the pregnancy..My engagement ring and I went to war but I was finally able to take it off..Now my wedding band which was snug from before is stuck and it looks like they are going to have to cut if off!! I am so mad at myself for not anitcipating this before!! Thanks girls for letting me vent!

Re: **Vent**I hate being swollen!

  • Ughhh that really sucks...are you drinking a lot of water? I know it seems counter-intuitive to put more fluid in your body when you are already swelling, but the more water you drink, the better everything will get flushed out.

  • Yes I've been drinking lots of water but occassionaly I'll have a sprite or ginger ale due to the nausea..No more carbonated drinks for me! We have to call the jeweler and see what he says..It really sucks because its an eternity band with diamonds all around :(

  • Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about that, I hope everything works out for you in the end, which I am sure it will...Smile
  • I decided to take my rings off yesterday and just keep my anniversary band on instead since it's a little bit bigger. Hopefully the extra water will flush you out enough for you to take your rings off. Good luck!!
  • Spray Windex on your finger and slowly wiggle it off.  I know I am Greek and all and I am sure you saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding and saw the Windex come up...but I swear we don't use it everywhere! LOL (I was at a jeweler once and they did it on my finger and it worked!  Also put ice on your finger...when they are cold they tend to be smaller. GL!
