Anything fun / exciting / good / bad?
I'm bored and really have no motivation to work on my project right now- BUT I am eating lunch finally- a yummy sandwich from Honeybaked!
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time.

Re: How's your day going?
Ugh ready for the day to end. My counterpart got called into jury duty so I have to pick up some of her work today and since I'm off tomorrow I have to constantly send her emails that she can read tomorrow to let her know what stuff I've finished.
Ready for 4:45!
My day went well. This was the second day of school, and a minimum day (every Thurs is minimum day). I had my kids do a fun activity; they each drew a monster, and made it look however they wanted. They were not allowed to show their monster to anyone. They then had to write a detailed description of the monster and tomorrow they will be given someone else's description and be instructed to draw that monster (they don't know about tomorrow's activity yet....so they don't know just how important the description is). Its a fun lesson on the importance of details in writing. I did it with my RSP lang arts, honors lang arts, and journalism classes.
It's been a great first 2 days back at work!
I teach 7th grade (7th and 8th in journalism). They LOVED the project and it was a good segueway into the essays they began today. It was really fun to see them draw someone else's monster, based only off the written description. Some kids were spot on, others were close, and some were way off; of course it all depended on how descriptive the description was.
