Tomorrow we're getting carpet installed in our living room only. Do we tip the installers and if so, how much? Thanks!

You can if you want. Since it's only one room I might offer them a bottle of water and if they do a really good, fast job maybe $20 if there's two of them?
Hanging out with you and the cutest little boy ever isn't enough tip? Ha.

Seriously.
I mean, they even got to hear the dog bark for at least half of the time they were here, which was all of about 45 minutes. They were really quick and it turned out nice. Unfortunately I didn't do such a good job at picking the color though because I thought it was darker but it's just about the same neutral color as the carpet we got ripped out. Oh well. It's done now.
