Update! Mostly good news :)
So, DH has to have some MORE tests, but the doc thinks this is an autoimmune disease. We can treat it with steroids, etc, but he might have flare ups for the rest of his life. Its kind of like lupus i guess, but manageable and not life-threatening. It will mostly just be annoying.

Good to hear that they don't think it is anything too serious. I'm sorry that you'll have to deal with this though. Its always awful to find out there is any type of health issue with someone you love regardless of its seriousness. I'll be praying for you that the final diagnosis is good.
