I don't know. I'm attracted to ridiculously expensive household things. Plus it has this ball thing so it TURNS ALL WHICH WAYS! It will make vacuuming fun!
That's what I'm telling myself, anyway.
Lol! It does suck a lot! I used ours right after vacuuming with my old vacuum and it still picked up almost a canister full of fur. The only thing that makes me sad about my Dyson is that the ones with the turning balls weren't being made yet. So mine can't do cool turns.
Oh, it apparently does make vacuuming more fun. H, who hates cleaning, loves using it and its attachments. He almost always takes over the vacuuming from me now.

HAHAHA. you can breathe now. we found a guy selling his brand new, in the box, still sealed one on craigslist. it's the old school, red one from target with no ball.
it sucks hard. in the best way.
i don't know if i'd pay full price for one, but i'm a cheapass that never vacuums. the best thing about this one is that it got the hubs excited about the toy, so he usually does all the vacuuming now.

I SPH the dyson. I found a dyson slim (the lightest-weighing one) at macy's for something like $220, which isn't terribly bad. I saw a big lots commercial a few months back, they were selling the slim for 250 or so. again, I looooooooooooooove it.
