Sad News. Nesties, I need your help.

My best friends husband was killed in Afghanistan the other day. We all just found out yesterday, as did she. She just gave birth to their 3rd child 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks after he deployed (for the 2nd time). She didn't even get to say goodbye, as he didn't have access to phone or email in the past 2 weeks..

My heart is broken for this family. They are the best people, the most beautiful family, and he was a man so passionate about his Army career. He was a brave, kind, amazing man, father and husband.

Both of their families are on their way to be with her and her children as we speak.

I am heartbroken, speechless...

We've started a donation fund in his name. (please see siggy) Any amount, even one penny, would help.

I am so sorry to hear that.  We have friends who are serving overseas, and these men and women are always in my thoughts.  I will keep your friends family in our prayers also.
