Will it be hard to make friends?
So I think we are going to try to move to C-ville. It really seems like the perfect place for a new start. It has everything we could want. I just need to get a job at UVa or Martha Jefferson first! I am wondering how hard it will be to make new friends? What are the people like? I have heard that people are friendly. But...I am also from Assachusetts, don't get me wrong I will always be from here, but people are well, you know.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

My DH and I moved here last summer. We did have friends who lived down here prior to us moving, which has made it slightly easier to have people to go out with. But I have also made friends through work easily. As well as there is an outdoor group that does a bunch of activies. Hiking, whote water rafting, etc. We have not joined it, but have looked into it and looks like a great way to meet people. Everyone is really nice down here (we came from outside Balitmore, MD), always waving in our neighborhood etc.
But also know that from Aug - May majority of people here are college age, as UVA is in session. Good Luck, let me know if there is anyhting I can help with as you get ready to move.
