we know the odds are ridiculously stacked against us, but somehow we sucker ourselves into buying a ticket or five every time the jackpot gets really high. besides, it's fun to daydream about what we'd do if we won, and you can't win if you don't play!

I bought five tickets and have already mentally hired a hot pool boy named Scott who's working his way through law school and chosen black granite counter tops for my kitchen.
Oh yes...dream big or not at all.
I don't really know anyone that buys lottery tickets (except you fools, apparently). I've just never thought about it. What I always hate about lottery winners is they're all like, "The money won't change me." I'd be all like, "HELL YEAH the money's going to change me!" I'd be like that scene from Dumb and Dumber of them climbing out of their Lambo in fancy snow suits and passing out $100 bills YEAR ROUND.
I think that's how people lose all their winnings, though.
