How is everyone holding up in this crazy storm?

I heard on the news to expect power outages across the city...hoping everyone is safe at home...I'm at work for another hour!

We are good here, thankfully! It was scary here for awhile when the sirens were going off. We had everything ready in the basement and the pets down there too. I have a HUGE fear of tornados, so I was freaking out.

We are fine.  We were in Okemos during part of the storm.  We saw the begining of the storm and I raced into PetSmart to get Hannah another BoBo.  Then we went to Wally World and it was down pouring really bad when we ready to leave, but when we got back home it doesn't really seem like it was that bad here in Mason.  Not that much branches down or anything.

 Leesa - I have a fear of bad storms too.  I used to love storms, but ever since I went through a tornado - I hate them!

The scary part about being at work is knowing that I can't leave...oh and the fact that I'm 6 stories in the air.

There are more tornado watches out for tonight. Everyone stay safe!

We ran into East Lansing for ice cream real quick and go thome just before it started to thunder out.  I am now tooooo tired to get up and look outside to see if it is raining.

Yeah, I see that now.  Eric had walked in from walking Hannah and said that the sky was black and there was constant lighting.  Eric loves storns.  Me on the other hand would prefer to be hiding in a basement right now.  Oh well, instead I unplugged the laptop and shut off the desktop.

We were up north and I drove through the terrible rain! AH! I hate driving in the rain (mostly b/c other ppl are such freaker-outers about it and do stupid things). Other than that, we're fine )
