Exciting news..TTC #2

Whoohoo!

I literally can't friggen wait.  I LOVE pregnancy and also LOVE being a mother.  So after this next cycle, I will be calling my OB to ask for a prescription of clomid.

We needed it to get pregnant last time (after two years of naturally trying on our own we finally tried a round of clomid and got PG that very cycle).

We really would like to have a Spring/Summer baby.  It was awful having a November baby because I got cabin fever really, really bad.  It was a long 6 months before the weather turned nice.

Did I mention WHOOHOOO

  • Congrats! You're so brave having them that close together. I don't know if I could do it.
  • Awesome! That is so exciting! My brother and I are 16 months apart and have always been close.
  • Wow! I can't even imagine trying again in the next few months. But that's because we've just turned the corner after a rough bout of colic. Me thinks we'll be waiting for a while before no. 2.?

But that's awesome you're ready already!

We needed clomid to conceive after 2 years of trying unsuccessfully as well. The OB said we may have "primed the pumps" and not need it to conceive again. That remains to be seen of course, but I'm not holding out high hopes for having it happen au natural. Guess we'll find out in ?a few years... I haven't even had my first post pardem AF yet.

Just curious, but had you considered trying sans clomid at all or does your OB think you'll need it again? I'm not sure what we'll do since I'll be close to 35 when we start trying again.

    BEST OF LUCK!!?

  • Congrats!

I needed clomid the first time around, but got pg without it this time so you never know.  Good luck!

  • That's awesome!  Get Busy! Good luck TTC.
  • Congratulations!  That's so exciting.  We needed clomid the first time around as well, but Sophie came without any extra help.  Have fun making a baby!
