As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

teachers...question
I have just signed a contract for next year with my
current district (had to sign it within 10 days or it
would be voided). I have the opportunity to interview with
a much better district closer to my hometown. Can I still
get out of my contract? I've been told that I have until
the end of July to get out of my contract. Is that a state
policy or does it vary by districts?

I teach here for South Western and I believe we deadline is sometime in July (maybe the 15th). I do not know if that is a district policy date or some other date set by ????
Call your HR and just ask. If you are outside interviewing, they will know anyways if they call for a reference.
The deadline is July 10th.
