Houston Nestie Needs Help! (Event Venues)
Hi there! A Houston Nestie needs your help!
A friend of mine is having a destination wedding in Jamaica but needs a venue in Kansas City (she actually lives in the Lees Summit area) to have a party afterwards. LOW COST is important and size-wise it needs to hold up to 200 people! Any ideas?

I would suggest a few places :
Lakewood Oaks Golf Club
Powell Gardens
Legacy Park Community Center - a friend had her reception there, and it was pretty! I think she only paid like $300.
and also any of the John Knox Village facilities (it is a retirement home - but they offer rooms/facilities for events and they are decent priced and its near a pretty lake)
