Sunday was awesome, we celebrated our one year anniversary.
DH surprised me with a mini road trip up the coast: Lunch in Santa Monica, went to the Getty Villa, ate ice cream in Malibu, then he surprised me again with a car trunk full of art supplies so I can start painting by the beach at sunset.
This week = the first week of school. I hope my students don't kill me.

MH was OOT this weekend and I was super depressed. I'm really really homesick right now. My parents and friends in MN are all going to the fair (which is huge there) and I want to go and can't. I miss my friends there. And with MH being gone and not knowing anyone here, it made it all that much more depressing. I know it will pass, but I just want to move back home!
I watched some movies, worked out a lot, that's about it!
My weekend was miserable. Family drama, ugh.
I have jury duty today. I have to be there by 8, which is much too early for me.

my weekend consisted of way too much cleaning - and it was never in my house!
but ralph macchio (wax on, wax off) was on my flight home yesterday! I kept looking at him, thinking he looked familiar - it took me a good 20 min to place him.
this week: getting my hairs did today, start my new job on wed!
I hung out at home all weekend breathing in smoke and watching the flames up in the mountains. I'm finally starting to feel a bit better, which makes me so so so happy!
This week - try to get back to my normal schedule.
Friday: HH for my work bff's birthday
Saturday: Went to a friend's house to watch the UFC fight
Sunday: Beach, sushi, (500) Days of Summer...which I LOVED
This week, just a whole lotta work.
Friday: Country club dinner.
Saturday: Lunch with mom and brother at Cube. Dinner at Providence.
Sunday: Brunch at Joe's Restaurant. Buy iPhone 3GS for each of us. Take-out from Singapore's Banana Leaf with macarons from Jin's Patisserie for dessert.
Up this week...
Tuesday: Dinner with food blogging friends at Palate.
Wednesday: Go to set to watch shooting of my brother's episode.
Thursday: Possibly another food blogger dinner.
Friday through Tuesday: Yellowstone.

I felt like I didn't get to breathe this weekend. I spent the entire time running around to Target, Costco, mall, etc., trying to get ready for our trip next week. Not a bad thing, though!
We saw "District 9" yesterday, which was one of the most interesting movies I've seen in a long time. I highly recommend it!

friday was fun country club dinner.
saturday was getting my car serviced and a quickie dim sum with my cousin/MOH, in town for a wedding. i love that she always squeezes in a couple of hours for me even when she's only around for a weekend. finished off with a bbq at the ILs'.
yesterday we saw my sibs and helped my brother and FI with their floral vendor for the wedding. ended the weekend listening to the ILs pour out their hearts about some crappy family drama that doesn't seem to end.
this week: working on wedding invitations and designing the bean's birthday party invitations.

Friday--school thing that kept me out way past my bedtime
Saturday-lunch and Temecula with V then scored free froyo and watched movies at home
Sunday-checked out the new Bob's Bog Boy for lunch (meh) and came home studying for me while V made his amazing curry for dinner
This week....getting ready for the 3 day weekend/Disney half...

Friday - Don't remember. Couldn't have been that good.
Saturday - Did laundry and hung out with my mother and my neice. Played Sorry a bunch of times.
Yesterday - Celebrated our anniversary since it's today. Did nothing with MH all day. It was awesome. Went to dinner at D's favorite place. The Olive Garden. Then, saw Dimitri Martin. Afterwards my face hurt from laughing so much. Way funnier in person than on TV.
This week - Nothing planned.

This weekend we were up in San Jose for H's best man's wedding which ended up being not as terrible as I had thought it would be. The drives were miserable though...6 hrs on the 5 freeway is not fun.
Since we had to drive back on our anniversary on Sunday and we were both going back to work on Monday, I didnt think we were going to do much for our anniversary but H made dinner reservations at Mr Stox which was soo good and suprised me with tickets to see DMB in September. All in all it was a great one year anniversary!
Friday: Officially watched R's old motorcycle drive off into the sunset, relaxed around the house.
Saturday: Spent 2.5 hours outside at a rescue adoption event with our foster pup, came home & slept for four more hours, then spent the evening sewing.
Sunday: Shopping, spent the afternoon with R's uncle & his partner.
This week: doctors appointment on Wednesday, birthday party on Saturday, family BBQ on Sunday.

Saturday: I went to pilates and followed it up with a whole lot of nothing.
Sunday: We went to the matinee of Legally Blonde, followed by a super early dinner at Katsuya. After we came home we booked the final portion of our trip to Jamaica in January. :-)

Saturday: Boogie Box class in the morning and saw 500 days of summer in the afternoon.
Sunday: Errands and Laundry. I also had the baking bug so I made chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, and banana mini muffins.
Nothing too exciting planned for this week just looking forward to the three day weekend
My weekend was great! Saturday I registered for school, went to visit some family and ran errands with dd. Then a spontaneous trip to Borders to pick up a free signed copy of The Hunger Games Saturday night. Sunday was spent trying not to roast from the inside out since my apartment was 96 degrees and hanging with my dd.
This week is full of errands, packing, and last minute back to school stuff for both me and dd. I?m eagerly anticipating my 30th birthday on Saturday, and a week long work vacation after that with a 2 day Vegas trip squeezed in there. Whoo hoo!
My weekend was a birthday extravaganza for MH. And the extravaganza continues today...
I need a weekend from my weekend.
so late. oh well.
friday: frosted cakes. lunch with friends. chauffeured a carless friend around. country club dinner.
saturday: went to the beach. got rejected at the full parking lot. napped as it was in triple digits inside our house.
sunday: ran in the morning. took care of fun personal and house stuff. went out for sushi and cherry on top for dinner/dessert.
this week: cherish my last week of freedom. get my personal affairs in order as i won't be paying attention to them for four months.
