How was A's 30th birthday? I have no doubt you were the hostess with the mostess and you're guests had a blast!

I think it went pretty well....definitely not the best party I've ever thrown, but given the elements I think people had a good time. Fortunately the rain was only spotty with some periods of no rain at all. People still mostly hung out under the pavillion (it was pretty cold) but were perfectly happy to chat, and eat and drink. Moe's catering was a big hit, as was the candy buffet
I was surprised, but a good group of people hung out at the park until 5ish at which point the winds were really picking up, so we got a hand packing/cleaning and everyone remaining came back to the house and stayed until late. Andrea had a good time and it was really nice to see our family and friends, so even if it wasnt perfect, at the end of the day i called it a success
