This Saturday, the gym that Mike and I train at is opening a sister gym. This sister gym is owned by Chuck Liddell, LaDanian Tomlinson, Lorenzo Neal, and a couple of other pro-athletes. Since this is such a big part of our lives, it's a HUGE deal and very exciting! Saturday night, there is going to be a Grand Opening party at a club downtown. It's sort of a joint event because Kendra Wilkinson's brother turns 21 and we're combing parties. It's supposed to be a huge, star studded event (complete with red carpet and all) and since we're trainers we're VIP! We've done VIP and bottleservice before, but never like this. So, my question: what the eff do I wear?!?!
Re: I Need Help! What to Wear?
You and your hubs are hot, so I'm going to go with... naked?
I think it's fair to say that NOBODY wants to see that!
WRONG!

You can never go wrong with an LBD.

As flattered as I am that you two have voted for Bob and Dylan to go sans garb (yes M named the girls Bob and Dylan...), I can't show up nakey. I really have no clue what to wear. My go to store for cute/affordable clothes is Express, but they don't have anything great right now so I think I might have to hit up an actual department store and buy big girl clothes. Only, I get overwhelmed in department stores, and I'm slightly fashion-challenged.
Does nobody feel like online shopping today?
I could see you in something one-shouldered.

I think I want to wear some color, and not the typical LBD. Although I'm a big fan of them, that seems to always be my go-to. My favorite features are my legs and shoulders/back, and I hate my tummy. So something short and forgiving in the mid-section is ideal. What do we think about this? Too casual?

Pardon that the last two are from the jrs dept, but their prices are better -

Color, plus it's on "sale" (at least by their terms):

Oh, I should mention that I like to wear good bra support when I go out dancing. Strapless/one shoulder is usually my last choice. I like to go for something that I can wear a regular or racerback bra in, if I can. I know, I'm picky... sorry!
Meeeow.

I have this dress in black. I wore it in Vegas for my b-party. On me, it is VERY short. It was definitely appropriate to Vegas, but I don't know if it's too hoochy for San Diego?

Any event where Kendra is a guest nothing can be too hoochie.
This would show off your shoulders/arms -

I like the mock-up dress way better than the one Sienna Miller is wearing!
What about this?

I think you need to do an XP on the Fashion and Beauty board. Some of those girls have some awesome style over there and can find some amazing stuff. To tell you the truth, when looking through the ones that have been posted so far on here, I haven't seen any I fell in love with...(no offense to anyone!!)...I just don't see any that I feel would be appropriate...
Maybe I'm just weird (highly likely)
Actually, I take that back...of the ones posted here, I like the teal blue one you posted, Chrissy...the one with the ruffles/layers. Pair that with some bright yellow or red shoes.
Thanks M. I thought I was being too picky. Nothing has struck me as quite the right dress either. I'm thinking "Young Hollywood" and I just haven't felt that yet. It's always hard shopping for other people when your taste is different and when you don't really share the other person's "vision". I'm hopeful though that I'll eventually find something!
Chrissy-I didn't look through the other posts and see the actual pics, but my go-to store for almost everything is BCBG. They always have awesome options, especially for dresses. Bloomies, Nordstrom, Macy's and Saks also carry good selections of BCBG usually.
How about something like this, but instead of black heels, do gold or bronze strappy heels with gold cuff or bangles (it's colorful, short, you can wear a bra with it + you can add a blazer and high boots in the winter and give it a whole different look, very versatile)

Normally I'd say this is more of a daytime dress. And while my inclination is to still say that it is, I think I might at least try something like this on. you're right, with the right accessories it could be great and be something different from what I'd normally wear.
I'm still looking, but this is an option. Thanks!
I can see how you would say daytime now that I look at it again...but I think it would be hot with the right styling, like you said. I just feel like bows, sequins and too much fluff (most nighttime looks) look outdated now...but that is my personal taste speaking
Try to get some good pics, sounds like it will be a fun time!?
