? for Kenosha area ladies...

I am supposed to be doing the Danskin sprint triathlon in Pleasant Prairie and have no idea what the terrain is like.  Are any of you familiar with how hilly the area is??  Any other tips?  Thanks!

  • You can look on www.trails.com and there is a "free topo finder". It will show you how hilly it is. You dont need to sign up for the free trial to get it to work either. HTH!
  • I live in the area and I can't say that there are very hill-y areas....it shouldn't be too bad.

I plan on doing the triathalon next year! We were just talking about it yesterday....good luck to you!

  • The biking portion has some brutal hills -- leaving and coming back into the "park" area.  Other than that, they aren't too bad.  There are a few, but that one on Hwy 165 (the one leaving and coming back into the park area) can be killer, IMO.  I've done the Danskin twice and that hill always gets me.
