GTG- 9/26/09

OK, I'm going to take the lead on this.  Let's have a GTG on 9/26/09.  We can meet for breakfast  I actually met one of my best friends at a Vegas knot GTG, so friends can be made through these events!   Great way to meet people, IMO. 

So who is in?  Should we do a champagne or bellini brunch?  Silverton has a fun bellini brunch that's reasonably priced. ($16 a person approx., including some fantastic  We can also do a brunch sans alcohol.  There are tons of place in town.  Thoughts?   

ETA:  I'll be away from the internet for a few days due to some connection issues, so I may not respond until next week BUT please let me know your thoughts!

I'm bummed! I always check on hear to see if something is being planned, and now that it is I will be out of town..I hope it goes well and I'd love to come to the next one

BUMMER! I just moved here this past weekend and was hoping for a GTG soon so I could meet some girls. Unfortunately, I'm scheduled to work that weekend....argh. Hoping for another one soon!

I should be able to come! There is a small chance that I may go out of town...but it is quite small.  I met a really good friend on the Knot too!

Ok, I'm retracting my 'no' reply. Some of my work days just got moved around and it looks like I should be free....would love to meet some people in the area. Count me in!

And the opposite of Mandi, I have to retract my yes. Bleh. We have a huge corporate visit that week/weekend and the following week.

Is there another weekend that works for everyone?  Should we move it out to mid-October to more people can come?  I'm open to suggestions.  I just want to plan SOMETHING since we always say we will and never do!  Thoughts?

The second full week in October 11 - 17th is good for me, or the week of Halloween. No more visits for a while!

Would it be too much to have the get together as scheduled but plan an additional one in October?  I'm sure it will be challenging to find one time that everyone will be able to meet.  What do you think?

I'm usually available most weekends just turns out that I have a birthday party to goto on the 26th.  Right now October is pretty open for me so if you plan one again then I should make it!!

What's the verdict?  Are we going to go ahead with the Sept. get together and plan a second one for October, or are we forgoing the Sept. one and only doing an Oct. gtg??

I vote that we move it to October.  What's better for everyone? Friday happy hour, Saturday brunch or Sunday brunch?  Once I get some responses, we will go ahead and plan.  I was thinking the week of the 11th since RSP said she can go and it's far enough out that most of us can plan for it.  Thoughts?

I am fine for anything, but if I had to pick I'd choose a brunch. Either day is fine for me. Sushi is always welcome since it seems we always do that, LOL!
