Deck builder Rec's?

We are going back and forth whether to rebuild a deck or to pour a patio...cost is going to be a big part of the final decision I think!

 Any suggestions on deck builders so that I can get an estimate on deck building? We are considering a DIY job but thought it might be worth it just to check out having someone else do it!

Hey!  We just had our deck built last month & love it!  A friend of ours does them as a side job & he is very good at what he does.  He has built hundreds and is very experienced at it.  e-mail me for his contact info & I'll send you some pics too!  jLennon@kw.com

We had our deck & fence built by RL Jones company back in September.  They did a really nice job and were pretty affordable.  They are somewhere up north in MO, I believe, but were fine with coming to Olathe for us.  Most of our neighbors have used them as well.  The only problem we had was that they were supposed to get the building permit, and never did.  So, I think that means we have a slightly illegal deck!   Good luck!
