moving to Florence!

Dh got a promotion and they want him to stop commuting and make the move permanent, so here we go! Any nesties in Florence?

  • Sorry, I know tons of people who vacation there a lot as they have their vacation houses there but nobody permenant. What does your DH do there? That's an odd place to commute to.

  • He's a paramedic and we live in Eugene, so not that odd (pretty common actually). It worked out well since he had 48 hours on, 96 off, but oh well. We're excited for the move too! We're young and we don't know ANYONE our age there :( haha

  • I lived in newport for the last year and a half, and had a hard time finding people our age too.  the coast is def an older/retired area (or else its kids who grew up there, for many generations).  I would find activities that you enjoy, and people will start appearing in your age group.  If you have a dog, you might find people on the beach too.
