New Richmond lady here
Hi all! I just moved up to Richmond from Athens, Georgia. My name is Elise and my husband is teaching at a local school, and in the mean time I am helping us move and searching for jobs. We only know one couple here and I would love to meet some wonderful ladies! Gosh, it feels like college all over again, having to introduce yourself and beg for friends

Hi Elise! Welcome to Richmond! My husband and I have been here for 4 years and just love it. We live in the museum district - it is close to downtown without being in downtown. What school is your husband teaching at? One of our couple friends are both teachers - she teaches high school and he works at VCU. We are always looking for new people to add to our social group so once you are settled we should get together - I can show you around and introduce you to the area! Good luck with the move and see you around the board!

I am another Richmond area nestie, we are in the west end, but the far west end of Henrico. I check in on here once in a while and am actually always up for meeting up with anyone.
We moved into our new house over 2 months and are always so on the go we still have never gotten settled.
