Poll: Clothing
When I first came out, my friends were always saying stuff like - "oh, how great! You can share clothes with your gf/partner/wife." So I am wondering how many of you do.

5. Do you buy each other clothes? I buy her clothes sometimes - if I see something on sale that I know she needs/will like. She doesn't for me - but if she's in the mood, she likes to help me pick things out for myself when we go shopping.
We wear different sizes and have very different styles - the idea of us wearing each other's clothing is kind of funny. C would not be caught dead in anything I wear! LOL

1. Do you share clothes? No, but I wear her sweat pants when she is OOT - it makes me feel special
2. Do you share shoes? No, my feet are much larger than hers.

4. Do you have the same taste/style in clothing? Not really. We both like funky tennis shoes and black shirts but other than that we dress really different (ie I show cleavage she wears 3 layers of shirts).
5. Do you buy each other clothes? Yes. She buys me cute outfits when she travels without me. I buy her shirts and sweaters around Christmas time.

4. Do you have the same taste/style in clothing? We have very different styles. N has more of an androgynous style and I don't mind a little frill every once in awhile!
5. Do you buy each other clothes? N has tried to surprise me with clothes a few times and it hasn't worked out well. We laugh because she always picks out the most girly clothes ever. We talking lots of hot pink, lace, etc, which is a little over the top for me! I buy N clothes pretty often.

1. Do you share clothes? Not really. She may borrow a shirt here or there or inherit my shorts that no longer fit
but we definitely have our own wardrobes.

4. Do you have the same taste/style in clothing? Not really. We did moreso when we first met - but have kinda diverged in the past 9 years. I am more Eddie Bauer/LL Bean and she is more Coldwater Creek.

i've gotten that, too. what, do they think we're all the same size? lol!
1. Do you share clothes? no. she's 6 inches taller than me, so her clothes are too long for me and mine are too short for her. i'll sometimes borrow a pair of her grubby shorts or something when we're working around the house, but that's about it.
2. Do you share shoes? no. her feet are like 3 full sizes larger than mine. i'd look like a clown.
3. Do you share any other items of clothes (socks/undies/bras/etc)? no. even if we wanted to we're not the same size and wear different types of undies. we've borrowed socks on occasion when we run out of clean ones, but that's about it and it's very rare.
4. Do you have the same taste/style in clothing? we're similar in some ways, but very different in others. she's more...boyish, i guess? while i wear more revealing shirts and women's pants/skirts.
5. Do you buy each other clothes? no way in hell. we're both busty, we can't buy anything without trying it on first. she buys men's pants, and i have no idea what the length is, other than longer-than-me. i'm really picky about bottoms.

5. Do you buy each other clothes? once in a while I'll buy her something. She's great at picking stuff out for me, but doesn't do it unless we're together.
1. Do you share clothes? We don't share work clothes or pants to wear outside (casual or otherwise). We do share t-shirts and some pants we call "house pants" (pajama pants, sweatpants).
2. Do you share shoes? No, even though we are roughly the same size. I did commandeer one pair of shoes from S, but she's not getting them back.
3. Do you share any other items of clothes (socks/undies/bras/etc)? Oh no, lol! Well, every now and then if one of us runs out of casual socks (a rarity, because S really stays on top of the laundry!), we'll borrow those.
4. Do you have the same taste/style in clothing? Hmmm, I don't know. We wear very different things to work (me-- women's pant suits, S-- men's pants and women's button-down shirts). On the weekend we dress a little more alike (jeans, t-shirts).
5. Do you buy each other clothes? Not usually. A few times I've picked up clothes for S before a trip, but it's always a "here are some options, I'll take them back if they don't work" situation, not like a gift she would necessarily keep or anything.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)

1. Do you share clothes? No, except for socks once in awhile. Oh, and a couple times I've taken one of her tanks ro wear to sleep in when I'm traveling w/o her. She's like half my size and several inches shorter.
2. Do you share shoes? No. I borrowed a pair of her flip flops once to wear in the garden and stretched them out. Now they are mine and I'm not allowed to wear any of her other shoes. lol.
3. Do you share any other items of clothes (socks/undies/bras/etc)? I used to borrow her black scarf...which I puchased for her and is not really her style at all so really it was a gift for me.
4. Do you have the same taste/style in clothing? No. She's a combo of urban butch and cowboy casual. I'm more bohemian earth mama.
5. Do you buy each other clothes? Rarely, since I have a hard shape to fit and E is very particular about color/texture. She bought me a negligee for our first xmas that didn't fit at all and since then she's taken it as a challenge and likes to buy me sleepwear and lingerie.
1. Do you share clothes? Not really. I have inherited some shorts of hers that are too big for her now, and since she is gaining weight with the baby she wears my workout shorts around the house. She likes to wear my big t-shirts around the house too. I used to be quite a bit bigger around than her, but not anymore so maybe we will share more if I can drop another 15lbs.

5. Do you buy each other clothes? We buy clothes together a lot, especially hers, but not usually for each other. I've bought her a few ties and we've bought each other a few teeshirts.
1. Do you share clothes? To a point: I mean we share sweatshirts, sweatpants, and pj's. Other than that no. Our style is very differant, I am much girlier, Julie dresses girly for work, however it's much 'preppier' than I would. She's the constant collared shirt, classic clean lines, etc. (Think Ellen) However, I guess I'm very girly,modern, and enjoy to wear trendy, unique things.

3. Do you share any other items of clothes (socks/undies/bras/etc)? Um yes. To all three. We have one drawer for each they all get thrown in. However, Julie wouldn't be caught dead in some of my 'skimpy' underwear.

5. Do you buy each other clothes? We shop together, and will pick things out that the other might like, and for presents we buy clothes, but i don't go actively shopping for julie nor does she for me..

Essentially the same - classic/clean work and winterwear, although my work wear tends to run toward feminine sweaters and hers toward button-downs and suits. My taste in casual clothes is a little funkier than hers.5. Do you buy each other clothes? No, but we almost always buy clothes together. We usually do it all at once, every six months, and share dressing rooms so we can advise/critique. So we rarely buy anything without the other person there.
